Kaat

Hello,

My name is Kaat. I am 28 years old and I live in Leuven. I live close by the 'Abdij van het park' so that would be my main walking route. My mother tongue is Dutch and I speak English fluently.
All my life I have loved animals. At home I grew up with several cats. I have lived with cats my whole life. At the moment I live together with 4 adorable cats: Shadow, Cappucinno, Lina and Mimi. When I was 14 we also adopted a dog named Sabbe. Unfortunately after 13 wonderful years our dog died. I miss her and she will always be with me.

I love going on walks and especially when accompanied by a furry friend. Whenever I visit a friend who has cats or dogs or other furry friends, I cannot resist to play with or pet these animals 🥰. 

I offer walks with dogs starting from 30 minutes to 90 or even 120 minutes. I have no experience with trimming. I live Leuven and I like to go on walks in the "Abdij van Park." we can discuss other locations. I have experience with shy or scared cats, as you can read below. The duration for house visits is 30 minutes to 60 minutes or if need be 90 minutes. I can water plants and collect mail if necessary. I am mostly available in the afternoon or evenings. 
 
Two of my cats (Shadow and Cappuccino) were very shy and scared and I could not pet them. I cared for them and gave them space and time to get used to me and their new home. Bit by bit they became more comfortable. After 8 months I adopted a third cat, Lina. I took the time for my cats and the new cat to get used to each other. After about a week with scent exchanges and short encounters they became friends and now the three of them sleep together, play together and wash each other. About two months later I adopted a 4th cat, Mimi, she is an older cat, she is 9 years old. She got left by her previous owner which is why she is very attached to me and doesn't like it when I go on holiday. She loves cuddling and playing with me and with my tomcat Shadow . She lives peacefully with my other 2 female cats (Cappuccino and Lina) though she prefers me or Shadow. With patience and the help of Lina and Mimi, my tomcat Shadow now wants daily petting massages. Cappuccino loves to be near me and my other cats but she doesn't like petting yet. I'm sure that with patience and time she will eventually enjoy pets! I love seeing the progress make cats still make and I love them very very much!

I also love dogs, I don't have a dog at the moment but like stated above I used to have a dog and I adored her. I am used to dogs and I am used to walking dogs. I have friends who have a dog(s) and from time to time I go on walks with these dog(s).
