Hi, I am Sara and I love animals, especially dogs! I currently share my life with Chanto, my Romanian rescue dog. I have a small garden and I love having other dogs over because they can keep Chanto company and play together, which is why I decided to become a dog sitter. I am very responsible and I love to reassure dog parents by sending them plenty of pictures of their babies while they are being spoiled and cuddled ☺️

Meeting you and your dog beforehand is a must for me; ideally on a short walk and at my place, so that I can make sure that s/he gets along with Chanto both outdoors and indoors. And, of course, I need to make sure your dog feels comfortable around me!

What I offer:

At the moment I am recovering from some sort of burnout; in order for me to not overwhelm myself, I only accept dogs for max 3nights/4days consecutively. It might change in the future.

Chanto struggles with extremely active dogs; he's almost 10yo, which means that he sleeps and chills a lot, and for me it's important that he does not get stressed in his own "castle" 😁 I mostly accept older/calmer dogs.

I can give dogs medications if needed, and I live really close to BooZoo (in case of emergency). I have worked with a dog coach (cognitive-relational approach) in the past and am into canine behaviour in general; have been working on Chanto's reactivity for a few years, which means I know a thing or two about dog body language and dogs in general.

I can only take one dog at a time, as I would take both Chanto and yours out at the same time. I usually go out once in the morning and once in the late afternoon/evening; I offer one longer walk (45min/1h) and one shorter walk (30min) a day, but this of course can vary according to the dog's needs and based on external circumstances such as heat waves or bad weather.

I spend a lot of time at home as I mostly work remotely, which means that I would be with your fur baby most of the time and I can supervise him/her all the time. I'll be super happy to play with them or just chill and cuddle, whether it's in the garden or on the couch.

It's only my dog and myself living at my place. I have a small fenced garden, where Chanto spends a lot of time sunbathing during the day. The only two entrances lead to my own flat, which makes it Houdini-proof (believe me, Chanto is a master at escaping and it has never happened here). I live in a building where the sound isolation is not the best, which is why I can only accept dogs who are used to noises such as "slamming" doors, as I live in front of the main entrance.

Your pet is more than welcome to sleep on the couch or in the living room next to the couch (I have a second pillow, unless you prefer me to use your pet's one, of course).
