👫About us

Meet Matisse, Swiss-Italian lawyer with a passion for tennis, art, and painting. Alan, the finance whiz from Mexico, doubles as a DJ. Living the Brussels life for over 6 years, we're not just dog lovers, but also padel enthusiasts, travel addicts, and unapologetic foodies!

Our beautiful apartment, with fenced garden, in Woluwe Saint Lambert is the ultimate playground for your furry friend! Nestled between George Henri and Merode/Montgomery, we're a stone's throw away from George Henri and Cinquantainaire parks. Dogs roam freely, couches are for cuddles, and snoozing happens wherever the heart desires.

🐶 Our daughter Happy:

Happy, our 11-year-old female Jack Russell, 6 kg of pure love, is the true star of our household. We brought her right into our lives here in Brussels when she was 6 years old. She was abandoned and went through two shelters. Since then, she has been making our home and hearts full <3 She is our biggest blessing! Happy's a ball enthusiast – seriously, she never gets tired of it, no matter the age! Through pawshake and friends, Happy's been expanding her social circle lately, getting more pawsome pals on her playdate list. We think that, in her previous life before being abandoned, she has never socialized with other dogs. While her heart belongs to the ball, she enjoys the company of other dogs too (as long as they keep the excitement in check! 😆). However, at first, she may be territorial at home, so she may growl at your baby. She is not an aggressive dog and gets along with most dogs. She just needs a bit of time to adjust to a new doggy friend.

🐶Why we do petsitting

Now, here's a little secret – we LOVE dogs more than anything (yes, even more than humans! 😄). Since childhood, both of us have had the joy of growing up with furry companions and taking care of them. There is just something magical about spending time with these four-legged bundles of joy, playing, walking, and sharing cuddles. We would love to adopt another dog, but, for the moment, our lifestyle does not allow that. But since we do not want to miss out on the opportunity to have an even bigger fur family, we would be over the moon about the possibility of looking after your fur baby! They will be forever part of our family🐾💕

The other big reason for petsitting is for our Happy to socialize more and more (she has not grown up with this privilege) and get many friends and great company 🐕🦮🐩🐕‍🦺

📌 Important Information:

🐶 🐶 🐶 We often look after more than one dog at a time, so it's essential that doggies are not territorial or aggressive and get along with other dogs.

🏠 Generally, at least one of us works from home, but it can happen once in a while that we both need to go to the office (not likely but possible). Therefore, dogs need to be okay to stay alone with Happy for a bit, but we will be watching them with the webcam, playing relaxing music for them, and they will have full access to the garden.

Additionally, dogs are taken out twice a day (maybe more some days) for around 1 hour each time, ensuring they get a good walk and fresh air. They also have unlimited access to the garden for playtime and potty breaks.
