An Irish Best Friend

Hello! My name is Ella, and I am currently living in Leuven while completing a work placement as part of my studies at the University of Limerick in Ireland.

Since moving here, I have been enjoying getting to know the city by exploring its beautiful streets and parks on foot. As exciting as this experience has been, there is one thing I miss terribly from home, my dogs. I grew up surrounded by dogs and have always had them as a huge part of my life, so honestly it has felt lonely without them. At home, I have both our family dog and my own puppy, who I absolutely adore. Being away from them for such a long period has made me realise just how much joy and comfort dogs bring to my everyday life.

Dogs have always been more than just pets to me; they are family. I love spending time with them, whether that is going for long walks, playing games, giving them attention and affection, or simply enjoying their company. I understand that every dog has their own personality, needs, and routines, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each one individually.

One of the things I miss most while living abroad is the simple routine of taking my dogs out for walks and spending quality time with them. That is why I would love the opportunity to care for your dog. Not only would it allow me to spend time doing something I genuinely love, but it would also give your dog a caring and enthusiastic companion for their walks.

I understand how important it is to trust someone with a member of your family, and I can assure you that I would treat your dog with the same kindness, patience, and attention that I give my own.
