Hello there,

Welcome to Crazy Cat Lady Petcare Services! I am so happy to see you here 🙌🏻

My name is Kübra, 34 years old. I am an ethical vegan since 2018 and also an animal's, women's, LGBT's rights activist. I studied public administration at the university, i was used to work as a corporate banker and now i've been working as a yoga and pilates instructor. I'm totaly an outdoor person and love outdoor activities; camping, diving, hiking, riding, bouldering, swimming, skiing, travelling, meditating.Me and my husband live in the city center with our 2 cats and have no children. The elder one, Sonic, is 7 and the younger one, Zuzi, 4 years old and we addopted them when they were both 2 months old. 

As the name of my business suggests, I'm crazy about cats! Since my childhood, I have a special sensitivity to animals. I have been with animals for the last 20 years, as a child I had birds, turtles and a dog until the end of university. Turkey, especially Izmir and Istanbul, the two big cities I lived in before, are home to a lot of stray animals. I was voluntarily feeding, treating and nesting stray animals in Turkey. Now, with some of the money I earn here, I continue to support volunteers and some vegan organizations in Turkey, and also try to find good families, especially for kittens, in Ghent.

Cats are my special interests and i develope myself about them by following academic articles, watching expert’ videos and other sources. I take care too many cats, i've been petsitting on Pawshake ove 1 year and i have the opportunity to meet many different kinds and characters/behaviours as well. 

They also teach me so much on my way to recovery, growth, and becoming an adult. Their way of enjoying life, not giving up on being themselves under all circumstances, being alert but calm, being mindful, drawing boundaries but continuing to love, loving you unconditionally and being happy with what you give them, reminding you every day, that you can never be alone with a cat when you think you are lonely. Cats have taught me to be a mother without giving birth and to raise my inner child. Just love them and love being friends with them ♥️

I act with a high awareness that all animals have their own character and how much their behavior can change, especially when the parents are away. First, I respect the cat's space and give it time to wonder about me without interfering with its routine. I am skilled at communicating with cats that are said to be extremely shy and often hide! If you want your cat to communicate with its sitter without hiding and without stress, you are at the right address!

I do not limit my visits to 30 minutes. I think that, this time is not enough to have a real communication with an animal, that is visited once a day. That's why my visits take minimum of 40-45 minutes. If the cat has some other need or special condition (and if I have the time) I can stay longer. I regularly send videos and photos every day/every visit.

I wash food and water bowls every day. I fully implement all directives on food portions and types. If they like and allow i can brush them every visit. I can cut their nails if needed. If your cat has medications that he uses regularly, I will make sure that he takes the medication by following all the instructions exactly. I can apply medication orally or with food, give an injection such as insulin. I can do post surgery care and dress a wound. If your cat has ongoing treatment, I can take it to its vet.

I am also so sensitive about cleaning and housekeeping. I fully comply with the instructions on the correct sorting of garbage and its disposal on the day. I ventilate the house every day, following all safety instructions so that the cats can breathe fresh air. If you have a robot vacuum, I can run it every day. Otherwise, for all reservations longer than three days, I will vacuum the house with the power tool you will show, so that the cats do not breathe dust. I will check your mailboxes and deliver your cargos and mails to your home.

Another subject that I am sensitive and successful in is plants 🪴 I look after many different kind of plants in my own house, I love growing avocados from seeds and now I have 10 tiny avocado trees! If you can't find your plants as you left them on every return trip, you are at the right address again! I can water flowers, plants, gardens and trees if any, and if there are regular supplements used, I can apply them by following the instructions.

I mostly like and prefer to visit cats in their homes, cant expect any animal to my home. If there is no situation that requires your cat to be visited at a specific time (medicine, etc.), I visit between 11:00 and 18:00 and at the same time every day on average. If it will be 2 times a day, I do visit in the morning and evening.

Apart from cats, I am enthusiastic and experienced in turtles, mice, guinea pigs, rabbits, birds (I love birds, I can keep them at home, my cats are friendly and used to birds), chickens, roosters, some exotic species. Admittedly, if there's anything as exciting as meeting new cats, it's meeting new species! If you are the owner of another species that I forgot to mention, please allow me to meet it 😍
