Hi! I’m Emelyn, a veterinarian in Brazil and a lifelong animal lover with extensive hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats and other pets. My veterinary background has given me a deeper understanding of animal behavior, well-being and responsible pet care. I live in a secure apartment right by Parc de Forest, with easy access to a large green space and a nearby off-leash area, perfect for walks, exercise and playtime. Pets staying with me are kept in a clean, comfortable and safe indoor environment, with close supervision and plenty of attention. I always respect each pet’s routine and never leave them in unsafe situations or environments. I offer dog boarding and doggy day care in my home, as well as dog walking, home visits and house sitting. Because I live in an apartment, I can only accommodate small pets for boarding and day care in my home, so I can provide them with enough space, comfort and a suitable environment. For dog walking, home visits and house sitting, however, I’m happy to care for pets of any size, including medium and large dogs. Dog walks can usually last around 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the pet’s age, energy level, health and usual routine. During boarding and day care, I adapt walks, feeding, rest and playtime to the individual needs of each pet. I can also administer medication when needed, as long as the owner provides clear instructions regarding the medication, dosage and schedule. Thanks to my veterinary background, I understand how important it is to follow these instructions carefully and to pay attention to any changes in an animal’s behavior or well-being. I know every animal has its own personality, habits and boundaries. Before each booking, I like to learn about your pet’s routine, temperament, preferences, medical needs and any special requirements. When pets stay in my apartment, I make sure they have a comfortable place to rest, access to fresh water and appropriate supervision. I also follow the owner’s instructions regarding feeding, walks and whether the pet can be left alone and for how long. I’m happy to send regular photo updates so you can see how your pet is doing and feel reassured while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, comfort and happiness will always be my priority. 🐾❤️
