Hello! I’ve been living in Brussels for a year, where I moved for my studies. I really miss my cat Nutella (11 years old), so working as a cat sitter is not just a job for me, it’s something I genuinely enjoy 🐱 My approach to cat care is based on observation, patience, and respect for each cat’s personality. I have experience with shy cats, like Nutella, and I know how important it is to give them space and let trust build naturally. I never force interaction and always move at their pace. I’ve also cared for much more affectionate and playful cats, and I’m very happy to engage in playtime, cuddles, and interactive activities when they enjoy it. In addition, I fostered a cat for one year who had trauma related to abandonment. He was very cuddly but also fearful, especially of the outdoors. That experience helped me become very attentive to stress signals and body language, and taught me how to create a calm and reassuring environment. I have also accompanied two cats during their very first outdoor explorations. While I am mostly used to indoor cats, I learned how to guide those first experiences carefully and safely. I speak English, Italian, Spanish, and conversational French, which makes communication easy for international pet owners. I offer home visits (once or twice per day), overnight stays, and longer presence visits (I can bring my laptop and work quietly from your home to keep your cat company). During visits, I always adapt to your cat’s needs: playtime, cuddles, brushing, feeding, cleaning litter boxes, or simply being a calm presence if that’s what they prefer. If I notice any unusual behavior (loss of appetite, changes in mood, signs of discomfort), I will contact you immediately and follow your instructions. Your cat’s safety and well-being are my top priority. I live in the Marolles area and can cover Brussels City, Saint-Gilles, Ixelles, and nearby neighborhoods.
