Hello!

My name is Ghiwa Haddad, i am 27 years old working as a physiotherapist (kinesitherapeut) in Izegem.

I was born in Lebanon and ever since I was a child, animals have been a huge part of my life. I took care of many cats and dogs and also other animals such as rabbits, Guinea pigs, turtles and birds... 

At the age of 13 years I got a puppy and I named him "Charlie". We instantly became inseperable best friends. We experienced the world together as we both grew up. Sadly, Charlie passed away when he turned 13 years old. I am now left with his memory that will forever remain in my heart. 

My love and appreciation for animals is imprinted within my character. I have learned through my many interactions with dogs and cats how to understand their behaviour and adapt my communication with them. Moreover, throughout my life I have taken care of many stray dogs and cats and provided assistance in animal healthcare with veterinarians and some rescue organizations. 

When I moved to Belgium, I first was a masters student in Leuven. I noticed then that many people share my love for animals and I have made some good friends through working in pawshake and hosting many pets. Once I graduated and moved to Izegem, I temporarily stopped working as a pet sitter as I did not have the time for it. 

As I have settled down now, I would like to have more opportunities to meet and get to know animal lovers and their pets. To me it is the kind of experience that gives me the most joy and happiness. 

I currently live in a small appartment that has 2 spacious terrasses. I often enjoy long walks in nature and go to parks and forest that are nearby, such as de vart walk and t'veld forest.
